In a bid to revitalise agricultural activities in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Femi Ogunbanwo has provided Cash empowerment and farming tools to over 1,500 farmers in his constituent.

This was carried out during a training programme tagged "Back to the Farm," aimed at equipping farmers with necessary resources and financial supports to encourage youths into farming activities, thereby boosting  food production and job opportunities. 

In his address, Hon. Ogunbanwo said the distribution of both cash grants and farming tools would enable farmers to reinvest in their agricultural ventures to help increase crop yields, improve food security and stimulate the local economy, promising continuous support and future training programmes towards long-term success.

In his good will message, Chairman, Governor Advisory Council, Chief Oluneye Okuboyejo, emphasised the importance of returning to agriculture as a means of self-sufficiency and prosperity for the community, saying, "Farming is the backbone of our economy and with the right support, we can achieve greater food security and economic independence."

Mr. Jeje Kayode, on behalf other farmers,  eulogised Hon. Ogunbanwo for the initiative, adding that it would  mark a significant turning point in empowering them in tools and financial means to thrive in their farming endeavours.
