The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) expresses its heartfelt condolences to Governor Dapo Abiodun and the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the passing of the Consultant to the Governor on Media, and the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Ambassador Tunde Oladunjoye.

The news of the demise of the resilient Chief Consultant to the governor on media and spokesman of Ogun APC, who departed at his prime, came with a rude shock and disbelief, leaving behind itself excruciating pain and sorrow in the media community.

Amb. Oladunjoye was not just a dedicated politician but also a beloved figure whose immense commitment and contribution to public service, humanity and overall development of our dear State will forwver be remembered.

This tragic news is, sincerely difficult to fathom just as we never saw it coming in the neighborhood of fifty years' time, but still we totally submit to the will and sovereignty of Almighty Allah who gave and took him home at this time. It is indeed, a profound loss which requires the benevolence of Allah to bear it's irreplaceable effect. 

The Council extends its heartfelt sympathies and strong solidarity and as the government, family and friends mourn the loss of this erudite politian whose presence will be deeply missed, and his memory cherished forever, having lived an impactful life. to his family, friends, and all who mourn his loss during this difficult time.

May Allah grant his soul eternal rest!
