The seminar was designed to equip these leaders with the knowledge and skills to commence deeper mobilization across the State while passing the gospel of Good Governance and numerous contributions and programs of the NEW GENERATION.
The event brought together notable figures such as Comrade Folarin, Pastor Kolawole, Otunba Adebayo, and NYCN State Secretary and former Ogun State NANS President, Mr Samuel Opaleye (Zamora), as well as leaders and partners of the New Generation Foundation from across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State.
The New Generation’s political arm, the New Generation Movement has a leadership base of 300 and over 20,000 members across Ogun state. It has strong tentacles across the SouthWest and Nationally with Nigeria4PO Suport group founded in 2021 and LPD which structures across Lagos, Ogun, Borno and Akwa ibom.
During the seminar, Wale Kuku emphasized the need for increased youth participation in politics, introducing the "Operation Better Soup" and “Operation 100” initiative to bring more members into the Nee Generation structure. He encouraged young people to get involved in politics to drive change, stressing that they shouldn't rely on "politics of money" where candidates are often exploited by supporters. Wale Kuku cited Peter Obi's integrity as a yardstick, highlighting the importance of leaders prioritizing the people's interests.
The seminar featured engaging discussions on youth empowerment and political participation, as well as an interactive session where attendees provided feedback and suggestions. The event concluded with a love feast, where delicious food and drinks were served, and everyone came together to bond and celebrate their shared vision for a "New Nigeria".
