Muslim faithfuls have been called upon to continually adhere to the lesson learnt during the holy month of Ramadan towards fostering peaceful co-existence and socio economic wellbeing in their various communities.

The Vice Chairman, Sagamu Local Government Hon. Salami Isiaka made this call while marking the end of Ramadan at the Muslim praying ground in Sagamu.

Hon. Salami thanked Almighty Allah for seeing them through the period, congratulating Muslim brothers and sisters for the faithfulness of Allah over them. He called on religious leaders not to relent in praying for the peace, unity and progress of the country, urging Muslims to continue to maintain their good acts as exhibited during the sacred period for their spiritual growth.

In his Id El fitri message, the Chief Imam, Remoland, Shehu Jinadu Abdul- Quadri, enjoined Muslims to continue to seek divine intervention in addressing the country’s challenges, admonishing them to continue to move closer to God and pray for unity of the State and the country.

In his remarks, the Baba Adini of Remoland and Asiwaju Adini, Ogun State, Alhaji Samsudeen Apelogun enjoined Muslims to maintain their prayer zeal, during the holy period by continuing to observe the 5 Sallat daily and use their resources to propagate Islam, advising them to be their brothers’ keeper.
