Ogun Body of Perm Secs, Principals-General,Others laud Gov Abiodun on NIPSS Training Programme

 




Cross sections of Heads of  Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) comprising of Permanent Secretaries, Principals-General and General Managers have expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for approving their participation at the one week   intensive training programme on strategic leadership 


The training, which is taking  place at  Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona School of Governance Studies (OSKASOGS), Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye is being coordinated by the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Plateau State.


The body of Permanent Secretaries in their  appreciation signed by the Chairman, Mrs Ajimo Dada  described the  gesture as another milestone of the Governor's belief in capacity building of the workforce which is the  major driving force in the execution of the ISEYA mantra.


She said that the training would in no doubt improve the efficiency and performance of the entire workforce. 


In the same vein,  a forum of Principals-General in the public service, in a statement jointly signed by the four political heads drawn from Remo, Ijebu, Yewa and Egba (RIYE), Dr Womiloju Ayodele Olubunmi, Babatunji Adeola Yusuf, Taoreed Ajaniade Bankole snd Babatunde Oluseye Ige, respectively said the initiative demonstrates the commitment of the Governor in enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of the state government's top administrators.


It further stated  that the training programme would undoubtedly equip the top echelon management officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive growth, improve service delivery, and promote good governance in the state. 


Also, the  Body of General Managers and Chief Executives of Parastatals and Government-Owned Institutions in Ogun State,  in a statement jointly signed by its chairman, Commander Seni Ogunyemi, and Secretary, Mrs Toyin Sogbesan commended the Governor and stressed that the training will in no doubt impact on them in enhancing their skills, knowledge, performance and efficiency in serving the citizens of the state and to an extent, translating to the implementation of the ISEYA programme of the current administration in the state. 


They, therefore,  pledged  their unflinching loyalty and support for Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration.

The Ogun State Head of Service ,Mr Kehinde Onasanya had in a statement stated that the training programme which is training programme is designed to equip participants with the requisite knowledge and skills on effective application of Policy, Strategy , Leadership and Management tools to further strengthen and deepen the capacities as well as enhance efficient service delivery.
