Chairman, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Council, Hon. Dare Alebiosu has charged market men and women in the Council Area to embrace the culture of cleanliness as this is next to Godliness.

Hon. Alebiosu stated this during his visit to Oke-Aje market, adding that good health can only be achieved if market environments are clean by making sure that the weekly environmental sanitation observed every Thursday is taken seriously.

The Council boss warned against roadside trading. In his words, " I want to urge our traders to desist from displaying your goods by the road side, so as not to affect the free flow of Traffic and also maintain a clean and hygienic environment as it will be beneficial to all and sundry’’.

Hon. Alebiosu pledged his administration’s committment at creating a safe and clean environment for everyone. He then urged them to cooperate with the Local Government Authority to achieve a cleaner and safer environment.
