Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) will hold the year 2023/ 2024 promotion exercises for eligible Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, from Monday, February 10, to Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

          This was contained in a circular letter signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Commission, Mrs. Melutia Ogunremi, stating that the promotion exercises are in line with the approval of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

The circular letter indicated that oral interview for the promotion exercises would come up at designated schools to serve as promotion centres in the four divisions of the State; Egba, Ijebu, Yewa and Remo.

It added that venue of the exercise for Ijebu Division would be at Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu- Ode, for those in Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu- North, Ijebu-East, Ijebu-North East and Ogun Waterside, while venue for Yewa Division is slated for Yewa (Egbado) College, Ilaro for those in Ado-Odo/Ota 1 & 11, Ipokia, Ifo 1& 11 and Yewa South Local Government Areas.

The circular letter further indicated that Lisabi Grammar School, Abeokuta, is the venue for those in Egba Division 1, comprising Abeokuta South, Obafemi Owode and Odeda, while African Church Grammar School, Abeokuta is slated for those in Egba Division 11, having Abeokuta North, Ewekoro, Imeko-Afon and Yewa North.

          The letter added that venue for the exercise in Remo Division is Remo Secondary School, Sagamu, capturing those in Sagamu, Ikenne, Remo North and Odogbolu Local Government Areas.

          All eligible candidates were enjoined to come to the promotion centres with copies of their credentials and duly signed APER forms, as well as originals of their certificates, past promotion letters, letters of upgrading/inter-cader transfer and career adjustment letters.
