The All Progressives Congress (APC), Youth Forum in Obete ward , Odeda Local Government,  Ogun State has decried neglect in political appointments.

The Youth Forum called on the  Governor of Ogun State,  Prince Dapo Abiodun, APC state chairman , Chief Yemi Sanusi, Senator Shuaib Salisu, Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly,  Rt. Hon Oludaisi Elemide, the Executive Chairperson of the local government,  Hon. Dr. Adeyemo Folashade and Odeda APC Party chairman to intervene in the political zoning of the ward.

The Youth Forum alleged that the Egba Ibarapa  zone has dominated government elected positions and appointments for over 14 years, marginalizing the Egba Oke Onan zone. 

They claimed that this imbalance has resulted in the  Egba Ibarapa  zone holding all key positions, including ward councillors, ward chairman, Governor's Advisory Council leaders, women leader, the 2 dex office  appointment of the ward, youth leader, and deputy youth leader.

The Forum requested  that Apostle Micheal Fajimi and other leaders involved be called to order to ensure the supervisor appointment allocated to Obete Ward is zoned to Egba Oke-Onan to promote peace and fairness.
