As Iperu Akesanland mourns the sudden passing, but glorious transition of its well-loved and highly-reverred king, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V, Apekunjoye), FIEX, FICMC, the Alaperu of Iperu Akesanland, tributes keeps pouring in from all fronts, including from government, families, communities, clubs, associations, friends, and associates.

Joining the list of sympathisers is Otunba Denny Ibrahim OLADIPUPO, Chairman of the Iperu Mini Stadium Committee and Ojude Oba Iperu 2025 Planning Committee. 

Otunba OLADIPUPO, in a heartfelt tribute, described Oba Adeleke IDOWU-BASIBO as more than just a royal father; he was a beacon of hope, mentor, and friend to many.  "His life was a testament to the power of compassion and service," Oladipupo stated.

"Under Oba Adeleke's leadership, Iperu Akesan flourished as a centre of culture, innovation, and unity.  His commitment to education, the arts, and the preservation of tradition left an indelible mark on the community.  His visionary leadership inspired residents to dream bigger and strive harder, transforming aspirations into achievements.

His legacy extends beyond his accomplishments; his warmth, wisdom, and unyielding support for his people will be deeply missed. His encouragement of the youths, embrace of elders, and nurturing of community bonds fostered a strong and vibrant community," OLADIPUPO further stated.

"Good night, my friend. Sun re o!" Oladipupo concluded in his tribute.
