In a significant display of commitment to the well-being of his constituents, Hon. Adebukanla Jamiu Kolawole, Councilor representing ward 4 at the 10th Legislative of Ijebu ode Local Government has marked his first 100 days in office by organizing a free health initiative, offering free eye tests and medical check-ups.
This is part of his broader efforts to improve healthcare access and address the health concerns of the people he represents.
The event, which took place at Otubu Memorial Primary School, Apebi in Ijebu-ode, attracted hundreds of residents who took advantage of the opportunity to receive essential health services.
The eye tests were conducted by a team of optometrists, while medical check-ups included basic screenings for common ailments such as hypertension, diabetes, and other health issues that may otherwise go undiagnosed.
Speaking to our Correspondent, Hon. Adebukanla Jamiu emphasized the importance of healthcare accessibility, stating that many constituents often struggle with healthcare costs and lack of awareness about their health conditions.

We are committed to improving the quality of life for our people." He said.
The initiative was well-received by the constituents, many of whom expressed their gratitude for the free services provided. "I never knew I had high blood pressure until today, and I am grateful for the opportunity to get checked," Ayodele Sunday remarked.
