The Ijebu Ode Grammar School Old Boys Association (JOGSOBA) has reiterated its commitment to supporting the Ogun State Government's efforts in providing quality education to pupils.
This was made known during the press conference marking the 112th Founder’s Day Anniversary of Ijebu Ode Grammar School.
Speaking at the event, the JOGSOBA National President, Otunba Ayokunle Bolujoko, emphasized that the association, which was established in 1922, would continue to support the school and its students while complementing the Ogun State Government’s efforts to enhance the quality of education in the state.
“We remain unwavering in our support for the state government's policies aimed at improving education.
“We will continue to complement these initiatives by contributing educational materials, supporting infrastructural development, and playing an active role in shaping a brighter educational future for Ogun State." said Otunba Bolujoko
As part of the celebrations, the National President also highlighted the school’s long history of outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and other fields.
Otunba Bolujoko further noted that JOGSOBA has made significant contributions to the school, including the construction of classrooms, the establishment of a clinic center, and the development of a fully equipped ICT center, all of which complement the state’s efforts toward ensuring quality education.
In his vote of thanks, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of JOGSOBA, Engr. Ebenezer Osoba, expressed the association's pride in the vision and efforts of the founding fathers of Ijebu Ode Grammar School, reaffirming JOGSOBA's dedication to upholding the school's legacy.
