Otunba Denny Ibrahim OLADIPUPO has been appointed as the Chairman of the Ojude Oba Iperu 2025 Planning Committee.

His appointment which is courtesy of the Iperu Council of Obas was communicated to him by the Ebi of Idena, His Royal Highness, Oba Lukman Oluwadamilare Adebambo SALAMI (Sebu II), at the monarch's palace on Monday, 13th January,  2025

In his acceptance letter, Otunba OLADIPUPO expressed his deep gratitude to the Iperu Council of Obas, led by His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V), for the thoughtful consideration of his appointment. He pledged to work harmoniously with committee members, stakeholders, and the Iperu Akesan community, both at home, and in the diaspora, to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants.

As Chairman, Otunba OLADIPUPO aims to consolidate on the success recorded during the 2024 edition, upholding the respected values and traditions of Iperu, and promoting its cherished socio-cultural heritage. He is committed to working towards a united, peaceful, and progressive Iperu.

"The 2025 Ojude Oba Iperu Planning Committee is poised to build on the momentum of the 2024 celebration, which was successfully revived after a 30-year hiatus. The committee's efforts will focus on creating an unforgettable experience that showcases the rich cultural heritage of Iperu," said OLADIPUPO.

It will be recalled that Otunba Denny OLADIPUPO served as the Vice Chairman of the Ojude Oba Iperu 2024 Planning Committee, and it is instructive to state that his selfless and very diligent contributions alongside other members of the committee, led to the successful delivery of the 2024 edition by the Otunba Taiwo OYEBANJO-led committee.
