The Epe Local Government Executive Council Chairman, Princess Surah Animashaun has embarked on a comprehensive project inspection tour to assess the progress of various ongoing works within the council area.
The Chairperson, represented by her Vice, Hon. Sikiru Owolomose, hinted journalists that the road construction and other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents.
According to her "The inspection tour is part of my administration's efforts to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective project management, aimed to evaluate the progress of ongoing projects, identify potential challenges, and ensure that projects meet the needs and expectations of the community."
The Chairman said that the Museum and Library Center was a landmark project situated in the Epe Local Government Secretariat, noting that the project aimed at promoting education, culture, and tourism in the local government area and beyond.
"Indeed, the inspection team having done a comprehensive assessment with this ongoing projects, and I am really impressed with the progress made so far and we are confidence that the project would be completed soon," the Chairman said
She said that the Epe Local Government Staff Quarters project seeks to provide comfortable and secure accommodation for local government staff, so as to enhance their productivity and overall well-being, noting that the project was nearly completed and would soon be ready for occupancy.
The Chairperson also visited the Health Center project which was designed to improve access to quality healthcare services for residents, so as to address the critical need for effective healthcare delivery in the area.
She reiterated her commitment on the completion of Akodu road networks which according to her was aimed at enhancing connectivity, facilitating economic growth, and improving the overall quality of life and property of the residents.
The team, which comprised Hon. Sikiru Owolomoshe, the Vice Chairman of Epe LGA; Hon. Rahmon Saheed, Secretary to the Local Government; Hon. Odupe Fuad Tunde, Supervisor for Environment; Hon. Liafeez Akemode, Supervisor for Budget and Planning.
Also, Hon. Sikiru Ramoni Adewale, Supervisor for Civic Engagement/Works; Hon. Ganiu Adele, Supervisor for Education; Hon. Alebiosu Abolaji, Supervisor for Health; Hon. Lawal Bolanle, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; Hon. Ashiru Waheed, Special Adviser on Works.
Among the team, were Hon. Segun Olukayode, Senior Special Assistant on Security, Hon. Ladele Ismail, Senior Special Assistant on Wealth Creation and Special Duties, and Engr. Olaseni Hamid, Council Engineer visited several sites, including the Museum and Library Center at the Epe Local Government Secretariat, Epe Local Government Staff Quarters, Health Centre, and the ongoing construction of Akodu street.
Hon. Rahmon Saheed Olalekan, the Secretary to the council, also expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing projects, he said, "We are committed to ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards and meet the needs of our community.
"As the Secretary to the Local Government, I am proud to be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering impactful projects that benefit the people of Epe Local Government."
The team later praised the leadership and vision of the Executive Chairman, Princess Animashaun, whose tireless efforts have led to the successful implementation of numerous projects in the local government.
"Her commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective project management has earned her the respect and admiration of the community." the team said
Hon. Odupe Fuad Tunde commended the Executive Chairman, saying, "Hon. Princess Animashaun has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision, and her dedication to the development of Epe Local Government is unwavering. We are proud to work under her leadership."
Hon. Bola Lawal, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation also hailed the Chairman, saying, "Hon. Princess Animashaun has been instrumental in driving the development of the council.
"Her commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and services has been inspiring."
Also, Engr. Olaseni Hamid, the Council Engineer, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the projects, noting that, "We are pleased with the pace of work on these projects. Our team has been working diligently to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
We are committed to delivering quality infrastructure that will benefit the community for years to come."
