The Nigerian Police Force have arrested and detained an officer captured in a viral video by Razaq Okoya’s sons.

Recall that two sons of Okoya had shared a video where they were spraying the Nigerian naira at an undisclosed event.

In the video, the Okoyas urged the police officer assigned to them as their security aide to hold some bundles of the money for them while they continued their activities at the event.

However, in a post made on X on Thursday, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said, the action by the officer was unethical.

Adejobi also noted the officer in the video has been identified and detained for disciplinary actions.

He said, “The involvement of the policeman has been condemned, as it’s unethical. We will always strive hard to uphold the sanctity, credibility, and core values of the police. Thanks.”
