The national grid did not collapse on Saturday, January 11, the National Grid Centre has said.

This caution by the official X handle of the Nigeria National Grid made the post following various reports of the collapse of the national grid.

The report which has been trending said the grid had collapsed for the first time in 2025.

However, the handle in its post said, “Kindly ignore rumour of a grid collapse today. It is false!”
