The former Commissioner submitted that the report that he has been supporting landgrabbers in taking possession of people's land is an attempt to tarnish his image.
He maintained that he never connived with any Mr Elijah in grabbing people's lands, saying that one of the villagers, Onatade Akeem had accused him of land grabbing in the past and he arrested him for defamation of character which he had later apologized publicly to him at the Magistrate court 1 in Ota.
Chief Ojuko said" Some people are accusing me of taking possession of some their lands in Saari Akoore in Atan Community which is not true, i want to urge the public to disregard the report. I am not a land grabber and I have never connived with one Mr Elijah in grabbing people's lands. One of the villagers who is accusing me of land-grabbing had done same in the past which was arrested and taken to the court and this same person had apologized to me publicly at the court for tarnishing my image, I was surprised that the same person still mentioned my name in the land-grabbing saga. I have an evidence of court affidavit for the public to know that the information is misleading and mischievous" he concluded
