The House of Assembly member representing Ijebu-Ode State Constituency, Hon. (Mrs.) Egunjobi Bakare Omolola Serifat, has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the residents of Ijebu-Ode following the recent devastating windstorm that caused widespread destruction in the area.

The powerful storm left numerous homes damaged and caused significant harm to properties, infrastructure, and essential services.

In a statement, Hon. Bakare extended her heartfelt sympathy to those affected, particularly families who have lost their homes or suffered considerable damage.

“While no words can truly alleviate the pain and suffering caused by this unfortunate event, I want to assure the people of Ijebu-Ode that we stand with them during this difficult time,” said Hon. Bakare.

“We are committed to working together with the local government and other stakeholders to restore and support the recovery process.”

Hon. Bakare further emphasized the importance of community solidarity in times of crisis, urging Ijebu-Ode residents to come together, support one another, and remain resilient as the recovery process progresses.
