The Chairman, Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State,  Princess Surah Animashaun has described the year 2025 as a year of changing the gears of development in the council, state and the country at large.

In her New Year message, the Chairperson wishes the people of Epe division, Lagos state and Nigerians a happy and productive year.

She also reflected on the challenges faced by the council, the state and nation in 2024 and expressed hope for the future.

She said "It gives me immense joy to welcome each and everyone of you – young and old- to this brand new year 2025. We must lift up our hands to Almighty God, in gratitude, for His grace and benevolence to our country and our lives in the year 2024 that has just gone by."

Princess Animashaun highlighted the resilience of the Epe citizens, acknowledging the sacrifices made by everyone and expressed gratitude to God for His abiding grace.

She also noted the Epe local government council’s efforts in implementing measures to address challenges in the past year, she described 2025 as critical and pivotal in accelerating change by government at all levels.

Moving forward, the Chairperson emphasised a need for unity and collaboration among her people, Lagosians and Nigerians, urging the people to work together towards the shared vision of a prosperous and productive Epe Council, Lagos state and Nigeria as a whole.
