The Ogun State Government has assured prospective individuals willing to invest in the tourism sector of a sustainable and robust returns that would be beneficial to both government and investors.

The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Sesan Fagbayi who gave the assurance while fielding questions on a radio interview programme from journalist, in Abeokuta, said the state is open and ready to partner with investors in the tourism sector and have mapped out robust investment arrangements, that would not only nurture the investment but also sustain them.

Hon. Fagbayi revealed that Ogun is blessed with over 45 tourist sites, which are mapped out for development "We have a lot of tourist sites in the state that needs Public Private Partnership interventions, such as Bilikisu Sugbo, iyemoji Natural Swimming Pool, Oke Eri in Imeko, Lisa Memorial Arcade and many more."

He added that the Prince Dapo Abiodun led government was passionate towards the promotion, preservation and sustainability of the cultural heritage and the tourism sector, noting that the State had made significant investments in security and infrastructures which had in turn make the state one of the safest states in the country.

Fagbayi hinted that the tourism sector is another oil well, if properly utilise could revive the nation's economy, saying that the Federal Government had mandated all state Governors to revive tourist sites in their states.
