Principal officers and staff(s) in Ijebu-Ode Local Government has embarked on the ongoing verification exercise at the De-Millenium Hall Secretariat Ijebu-Ode in compliance with the directive of the Ogun State Government.
The Staff Verification Exercise was aimed at establishing accurate staff strength of the entire workers in Ministries, Departments and Agencies(MDA's), across the length and breadth of the State, in which our Local Government is part of.
Furthermore, the physical activity planned to increase staff efficiency in carrying out the day-to-day activities on the job, as well as keeping in check absenteeism, unauthorized leave and secret exit from work amongst the members of staff.
The Verification Team was led by Alhaji Sulaimon Olekan, Head of Local Administration , Mr. Gboyega Akioye, Director General Services and Administration Department; Mrs. Kemi Mafe, Director Finance and Supply Department; Mr. Lukman Bakenne, Internal Auditor; and the Administrative Officers.
In attendance also at the exercise are: Mr. Adeniyi Wojuade, Director Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation; Mrs. Oluseyi Kotiku, Head Community& Social Development Department; Engr. Francis Abayomi, Head Works& Housing Department; Mrs. Omowunmi Olatunji, Head Information, Education& Sports Department; and the last but not the least Mrs. 'Nike Odufogbon, Asst. Head Budget Planning, Research&Statistics Department.
