The Executive Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Hon. Dare Alebiosu, has extended heartfelt Christmas wishes to Christians across the state as the world celebrates the 2024 Yuletide.

In an interview with newsmen, Hon. Alebiosu encouraged people to embrace the true spirit of Christmas by embodying Christ-like attitudes.

"I urge everyone to embrace the true essence of Christmas—love your neighbor as yourself, celebrate modestly, and remain vigilant about security. We are grateful that Ijebu-Ode is peaceful, and by God's grace, it will remain so. Our citizens must play their part in maintaining security and refrain from taking the law into their own hands."

"We must all practice love for our neighbors, understanding that only love can keep our nation united," the council chairman stated.
