The Chairman, Epe LG Area of Lagos State, Princess Surah Animashaun, has reiterated the determination of her administration to pursue comprehensive development across all 8 wards of the local government areas of the Lagos State.
The Chairman stated this while playing host to the members of Epe Concerned Group (ECG), led by its President-General, Mr. Olayemi Toheeb Balogun, at her office in Ita-Marun, Epe, Lagos State.
Princess Animashaun reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that all projects are diligently pursued for the betterment of the people of the council area, saying it is imperative to carry along the residents of the council for effective delivery of the projects.
The Chairman said; “With deep conviction, I want to assure the good people of Epe LG Area, that the momentum of positive change would persist. This is based on our administration’s steadfast commitment to advancing ongoing initiatives and introducing new strategies for sustainable development.
“Let there be no doubt, that our journey towards prosperity and well-being of the people will endure. Every effort, every endeavor will be directed towards the betterment of our communities and the upliftment of every citizen.”
Princess Animashaun expressed her appreciation for the overwhelming support she has received from the people of the council and organisation, especially on their advice on developmental projects of the Local Government Council Area.
She thanked the various support groups and individuals for coming together to making sure that the present administration’s performance were surpassed her predecessors in term of infrastructural development and projects execution, promising not to take such love for granted.
At the event, the Chairman was presented with a gift by the Publicity Secretary of the group, Mr. Ademola Olanrewaju, who said he has been impressed with the leadership style of the Chairperson since coming into office.
Earlier in his address, Mr. Olayemi Toheeb Balogun, the President-General of the group, reflected on the transformative leadership of Princess Animashaun, urging the people of the council to rally around her for the second term in office.
Those in attendance included the vice chairman, Mr. Sikiru Owolomoshe, Secretary to the Local Government council, Hon. Rahmon Saheed, Leader of the House, Hon. Kareem Pitan, Deputy Leader of the House, Kazeem Oniga, Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Odupe Fuad Tunde, Supervisor for Budget, Hon. Agbomeji Hameed, Ward A2 councillor, Hon. Wale Ikujenya and other top government functionaries.
