Hon Olasupo Gafar Idowu,  a second term councillor representing ward 5 has emerged the Chief whip for another second term.

The councillor was nominated as the Chief whip during the Swearing-in ceremony of councillors held at the local government Secretariat, Ake on Tuesday.

Olasupo during his first time as a councillor has been a vibrant legislator who has sponsored bills that have touched the lives of his constituents positively and which has made his second term easy for him.

Apart of sponsoring bills, the councillor has also empowered many of his constituents.
