The newly appointed Chairman of Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun state, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, has pledged to sustain an open-door policy, to further bring transformation and development to communities in the council area.
Hon. Adeyemo, made this known during an interview with newsmen in Odeda, saying policies of the council’s new administration would foster collaboration, transparency and accountability.
She added that her tenure would implement programmes that would promote local business for enhanced economic growth and job creation, promising that people of the area would be involved in the decision-making process, to bring about cordial relationships between authority of the local government and residents.
The Chairman assured of renovation and provision of critical infrastructure, such as schools, roads, healthcare facilities, boreholes, solar lights, among others, to improve the living conditions of people in the area.
She sought the cooperation of citizens both home and abroad for continued developmental strides in the local government, towards achieving positive change and accelerated achievement.
Contributing, Vice Chairman of the council area, Mr. Yaya Nasiru, who appreciated the state government and residents of the local government for the opportunity to serve, expressed optimism that the council area would witness remarkable growth under the new administration, pledging the council executive members’ loyalty to the Chairman.
