In line with the ISEYA Mantra of Governor Dapo Abiodun led Administration, The Executive Chairman of Ijebu-ode Local Government, Hon. Dare Alebiosu has inaugurated a six-man Economic Development and Revitalization Committee to lead the charge of repositioning Ijebu Ode Local Government Economy.
The Inauguration of the committee took place at the Local Government Secretariat, itoro, Ijebu-ode.
Speaking during the Inauguration of the Committee, Hon. Dare Alebiosu said the committee members are task on Economic growth and sustainable development of the Council Area.
" This committee has been carefully constituted to lead the charge in repositioning Ijebu Ode Local Government’s economy, ensuring it is diversified, resilient, and inclusive for the benefit of all residents.
The members of this committee were selected for their expertise, dedication, and extensive experience in key sectors essential to our development goals. Their mandate is to evaluate our current economic landscape, identify challenges, and provide actionable recommendations that will accelerate growth and enhance livelihoods across the local government area." The LG Boss Said.
In his Remark, The Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Sulaiman Ayinla said the committee, full of professionals will rise to the challenge and deliver innovative, impactful solutions to the economic challenges of Ijebu-ode.
The committee comprises the following distinguished individuals:
1. Hon. Titi Adeyemi.(Chairman of the Committee). The Vice Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government.
2. Dr. Olatokunbo Tosin An expert in Artisan Fishing and Cooperative Activities, holding a PhD in this field. His wealth of experience will be instrumental in revitalizing our fisheries and cooperative initiatives.
3. Dr. Alaba Oshikoya A seasoned professional in Accounting and Finance Management, with a PhD in the discipline. His expertise will guide the financial strategies and fiscal planning needed for sustainable development.
4. Mrs. Aderibigbe A dedicated Biology Educationist whose background in education will contribute to strategies for capacity building and human capital development within the local government.
5. Mr. Ope Osisanwo A Business Administrator, community development expert, and active member of notable pressure groups such as the Community Development Committees (CDC/CDA) and Ijebu Regberegbe, among others. His community-focused approach will ensure inclusive development.
6. Mr. Yusuf Oduwole A professional in construction and property development, whose expertise will support the infrastructural development initiatives crucial for our economic transformation.
