The Onirete of Irete,  His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) AbdulGaniyu Awokoya-Yesufu will be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Real Estate Management by the American University of Peace and Governance, Texas, USA, on November 30, 2024.

The announcement was made in a statement by Otunba Saheed Dosumu, Chairman of the Anowoneyo Area Community Development Committee.

The statement revealed that the conferment of the Honorary Doctorate is in recognition of Oba Awokoya-Yesufu's expertise and tireless contributions  

to real estate management across Nigeria.

According to the Statement, it would be recall that Kabiyesi had recently been honoured by the Ogun State Government with an Excellence Award for Grassroots Community Development, in acknowledgment of his unwavering commitment to the growth of Irete Ijebu and its environs

These dual recognitions are a testament to Oba Awokoya-Yesufu’s steadfast dedication to the development of Irete, Ijebuland, and Ogun State at large.

In a similar vein, Reverend Oyebola Adejoke Adams, an illustrious daughter of Irete-Ijebu and a respected community leader, will be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration by Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State, today 28th November 2024.

The Irete-Ijebu community takes great pride in the remarkable achievements of both Kabiyesi and their daughter, as highlighted in the statement.
