President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, beginning on Wednesday.
According to the presidency, the trip is part of his annual leave but will also serve as a working vacation.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, said the President plans to use the time for reflection on his administration’s ongoing economic reforms.
He said Tinubu is expected to conduct a retreat during the period to review and assess the impact of his policies thus far.
He added that the vacation will provide an opportunity for the President to focus on shaping the next steps in his reform agenda, ensuring stability and growth for Nigeria’s economy.
