The Orange Progressives Movement (OPM) has declared its full support for the APC chairmanship candidate for Odogbolu Local Government, Chief (Dr.) Babatunde Diya, in the upcoming local government elections.

This was stated in a release made available to infopalavanews.com.

The Statement reads further; 

I have been instructed by our founder in person of Otunba Dr. Adebayo Odunowo to inform all members of Orange Progressives Movement that in view of the nomination of Dr. Babatunde Diya as our party candidate for the Chairman Position of Odogbolu Local Government, all members and other Progressives to work together for the victory of Dr. Babatunde Diya at the forthcoming Local Government elections.

In view of this, I am imploring all the over 720 active members spread across the 15 wards of Odogbolu local government area to cooperate and work closely with Dr. Babatunde Diya's Campaign Committee; as well as working hand-in-hand with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to advance the cause of the Party in Odogbolu LG.

The Movement's support for the Diya Candidacy in the November 2024 local government elections stems from a firm belief that Dr. Babatunde Diya is a viable and valuable candidate whose approval ratings transcend party, tribal and religious affiliations.
