Tragedy struck in Ogun State this evening as Lateef Adebayo Salami, popularly known as LAS ,the immediate past Chairman of Yewa South Local Government, passed away. According to reports, Salami died at an undisclosed hospital in Ilaro, Ogun State.

As the news of his demise spreads, the Ilaro community is mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant. Salami was known for his commitment to the development of Yewa South Local Government, and his contributions to the state’s healthcare sector, particularly as a participant in the Basic Health Care Provision Fund Monitoring and Evaluation workshop.
