A call has gone out to the Government at all levels to massively embark on projects and policies that will make life bearable for the citizens.
This call was made by Dr Seun Sokan, who is also the founder of DDS Foundation.
He made this call while joining millions of Nigerians all over the world to celebrate the Independence Day.
He said that although Nigeria as a country is 64 today but the country is lacking major infrastructural development that would have put it at the fore front in the world despite the abundance of minerals resources, population and human resources.
Dr Sokan submitted that that it is quite unfortunate that Nigeria is still crawling at this stage and Majority of its citizens are living in abject poverty which is as a result of bad governance and mismanagement of resources.
Thus year Celebration shoud be a point of rethink and re-evaluation to see how far we have missed it and to start doing what is right.
Its important that the government at all levels shoud considered masses as its priority and thier well being paramount.
With our foundation's activities we have seen how people are suffering and difficult it is for them to feed..
I want to beg the Government to start thinking about the masses and how to make life better for them he said
DSS foundation just concluded a Back to school program in Odogbolu Odogbolu local government where over 12 schools where given materials worth millions on books,:uniform, bags etc
