The APC Chairmanship Candidate for Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Diya, has said that the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun in Ogun State has demonstrated prudence in its spending, prioritizing critical areas of development such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
He made this known during the town hall meeting on the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and the 2025 Budget, held at the Bisi Rodipe Event Center in Ijebu-Ode.
Hon. Diya commended the initiative of the budget town hall meeting, noting that the state government has conducted thorough needs assessments to effectively address essential areas and allocate resources for development.
"I believe town hall meetings are vital as they keep the community informed. This format allows the government to communicate directly with community leaders to understand their needs," he remarked.
He emphasized that the town hall meeting promotes transparency and reinforces the government's accountability.
"The state government has been prudent in its spending, focusing on critical areas such as roads, infrastructure, education, and healthcare," he added.
Hon. Diya highlighted that Ogun East has benefited from improved road networks, enhancing connectivity between urban and rural areas for the efficient movement of goods.
He encouraged the people to have faith in the government, support its initiatives, and offer their prayers for its success.
