Photos of the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno have emerged following the death of his wife Patience Umo Eno.

Recall that Patience Umo Eno, the wife of the governor of Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, was recently reported dead.

Earlier, Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, made the announcement in a statement titled “Unexpected Sunset” in the early hours of Friday.

Photos of Governor Umo Eno which emerged show him receiving condolence visits from Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

Sharing the photos on his verified Twitter page, Governor Mohammed expressed his deepest sympathies, praising Patience Umo Eno’s remarkable strength and grace. “I extend my deepest sympathies to my brother, Governor Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, following the tragic loss of his beloved wife, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State,” he tweeted.

Governor Mohammed continued, “Mrs. Patience Umo Eno embodied remarkable strength and grace, and I expressed my hope that her enduring legacy will continue to inspire the people of Akwa Ibom.”

He urged the people of Akwa Ibom to rally around their governor during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of unity and support.

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain noted, “Our prayers for peace and comfort are with the Eno family during this period of mourning. Mrs. Patience Umo Eno’s legacy of kindness, empathy, and selfless service will not only be remembered in Akwa Ibom but across the nation.”
