"The process is important because the exam will test the knowledge of the employees in the Civil Service rules which they must all be conversant with in their day to day activities as civil servants, another thing worthy of note is that this edition is the first that computer would be deployed for the senior category. I thank the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for approving the newly introduced CBT method", Onasanya explained.

He urged the candidates to leverage the new method of writing the exam to upgrade themselves in the use of Information and Communication Technology, in order to become better Civil Servants and possess high proficiency in the use of computer.

He added that the process had further underscored the commitment of Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration to staff motivation which would continue to promote efficiency and increased service delivery.

Also speaking, Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Establishments and Training, Mrs. Lydia Fajounbo reiterated that the examination was compulsory for everyone appointed into the Civil Service before their appointment could be confirmed as their success in the examination would confirm their eligibility, competence and how familiar they are with the civil service rules.
