The ease of doing business and land administration systems, among other initiatives put in place by the Ogun State Bureau of Lands and Survey have raised the bar of economic activities and improved quality of life for citizens.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Lands and Survey, Mrs. Oyindamola Oyelese, who revealed this while fielding questions from newsmen in her office at the Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration land administration reforms had remained critical economic transformation of the state.

She explained that the state government documents platforms, such as the Ogun State Land Administration and Revenue Management System (OLARMS), was meant to fast-track issuance of Certificate of Occupancy (CofO) had given out more than 10,000 CofO since inception of the present administration, saying the move was to complement government's efforts in ensuring creation of wealth.

Mrs. Oyelese said the state became the investment destination of choice and industrial capital of the nation through effective orientation on its programmes and policies at ensuring proper land governance.

 The Governor’s aide, who maintained that government had zero tolerance to fraudulent activities by land speculators, added that it was committed to curb the menace for the overall development of the state, while advising prospective buyers to seek professional advice before purchasing land.
