The immediate past Chairman of Ijebu North East, Hon. Badejo Folusho, has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ijebu North East local government chairmanship.

Following his nomination for another term, Hon. Badejo expressed gratitude for the goodwill and congratulatory messages he received after his victory on September 19, 2024.

He acknowledged that this achievement is a collective success, emphasizing that he cannot accomplish his goals alone. 

Hon. Badejo extended an olive branch to his fellow contestants, inviting them to unite in building the Ijebu North East LGA of their dreams, in line with Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun’s vision of making Ogun State the industrial capital of Nigeria.

He stressed the importance of unity and urged all party members to collaborate in securing a resounding victory for the APC in the upcoming general elections on November 16, 2024.

He expressed his deepest gratitude to party leaders, co-contestants, and faithful party members for their support and trust in him.

NOTE OF APPRECIATION:

Consequent to my emergence today, 19-Sep-2024, as Ijebu North East local government chairmanship candidate of our great party, APC, I thank everyone for the goodwill and congratulatory messages.

This victory is for all of us. I am just a symbol of our collective success, and I can’t do it alone. I have taken it as a challenge to carry every committed party member along in the quest to take our local government to greater heights.

I appeal to all my fellow contestants to join me in building the Ijebu North East LGA of our dreams as we work in line with the aspirations of our amiable governor Prince Dapo Abiodun CON to make Ogun State the industrial capital of Nigeria.

Ladies and gentlemen, the primary elections are over, and it’s time for us to join hands together as we work towards ensuring victory for our great party APC at the general elections coming up 16-Nov-2024.
