Medical and Health Worker's Union Of Nigeria , Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta Branch  Ogun State, MHWUN has dissociated itself from an association called Joint Actions Group, JAC, saying that the union is not part of the association.

The Chairman of the Union, Comrade Famuyiwa Sarafadeen who disclosed this on Thursday during a congress at FMC, Abeokuta said that Joint Actions Group does not exist, saying he only recognise a group called Joint Health Sector Union , JOHESU.

Comrade Famuyiwa said that the association is not acceptable and will not stand.

The Chairman while addressing the members boasted that his administration has been the voice of the voiceless , adding that some of his members have been promoted and he will not rest on his oars towards ensuring welfare of the members.

He also assured members that his administration will work in hand with the management of FMC in ensuring promotion of members.

Comrade Olatokun Sunday, the immediate past chairman of the union urged members to be proactive and focused. 

He also appealed to the management of the FMC to roll out relief measure to members to ease the effect of removal of fuel subsidy on them.
