A dedicated and prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bankole Habeeb Olugbile, BHO, has strongly dismiss rumors suggesting he belongs to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In an interview in Abeokuta, BHO reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and labeled the allegations as baseless and politically driven.
“That’s not correct,” Olugbile responded when questioned about his alleged PDP affiliation. “In all of my political journeys, I have always been affiliated with the APC. During the last elections, I led several initiatives to support our party, the All Progressives Congress.”
He highlighted his active involvement in the party’s activities, including taking youth leaders from his federal constituency to Lagos for the youth walk with Seyi Tinubu. "All the images are there. We supported the party at the grassroots level, ward level, doing different empowerment programs,” Olugbile added.
Dismissing any connection to the PDP, he stated, “I haven't been seen in any PDP gathering. I’m certain this comes from a malicious camp, likely from political adversaries who believe I’m vying for an office they currently occupy or are interested in for the future.”
Olugbile concluded by reaffirming his deep-rooted loyalty to the APC, saying, “I'm an APC member to the core, a card-carrying member, supporting the party from top to bottom.”
The clarification comes in the wake of political speculation, underscoring the highly competitive atmosphere within Nigeria’s political scene.
