1ST YEAR REMEMBRANCE OF OLORI KEHINDE IDOWU-BASIBO; IPERU MINI STADIUM PROJECTS COMMITTEE AND IPERU INDIGENES FORUM EMPATHIZE WITH ALAPERU, PRAY FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOUL OF THE LATE QUEEN

 



The Iperu Mini Stadium Projects Committee has empathized with the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V), FIEX, FICMC, on the first anniversary of the death of his queen, Olori Kehinde IDOWU-BASIBO, who departed this sinful world on the 27th of July, 2023, and was buried on the 22nd of September, 2023.


The committee in an empathy message signed by its Chairman, Otunba Denny Ibrahim OLADIPUPO, appreciates the glory of God in the life of the monarch and his family, and  for God's divine protection over him and his entire household, following the untimely, but glorious transition of his amiable queen and treasured companion, the late Olori Kehinde, who joined the saints triumphant a year ago.


"We understand how painful it is for anyone to lose a member of the family, especially, a wife.

We however take solace in the fact that the God who giveth and taketh, has decided to take Olori Kehinde at the time of her passage, and we are also confident that she is indeed resting in the bosom of the Lord", the Chairman said in the message.


The Chairman concluded as he prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Olori Kehinde and equally prayed that the good Lord continues to console the Alaperu and the children, and  grant them, and all those left behind, the fortitude to bear her absence.


In her memory, the committee also beseeched all inter-faith groups in Iperu to pray for the continuous protection and preservation of the family, and the peace and progress of Iperu Akesanland.


In the same vein, the Iperu Indigenes Forum also empathized with the Royal Father on the 1 year anniversary of the glorious transition of Olori IDOWU-BASIBO.

The forum in a message jointly signed by its convener, Prince Ladi OLABINJO; administrators, High Chief Barr. Ifasola Saheed OPEODU, the Oluwo of Iperu; and Otunba Adebayo SALAMI; and Media Officer, Tope OYEKAN; prayed that light perpetual shall continually shine on the departed queen, and that the good Lord will grant her eternal rest in His bosom.

The forum further expressed its empathy to the monarch, and prays that God in his infinite mercy shall uphold and console the Alaperu, Children, and the entire family
