As part of efforts to improve the living standard of rural dwellers, a 2km road constituency project has been commissioned in Olorunsogo Ewuga community in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Speaking at the event, a member, representing Remo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, said the Federal Government was committed to improving the socio-economic growth of the country, through the provision of impactful projects, noting that rehabilitation of the road would alleviate challenges being faced by people in the area.
“Some months ago, the 2km road constituency project was flagged off in Ewuga Olorunsogo Community, and this is being commissioned today. I want to assure you that a 22km Okoatada Simawa-Sagamu road will be completed in earnest,”she said.
She pointed out that the road would enhance commercial activities and ease vehicular movement in the area, urging the people to ensure proper maintenance of the road.
In his remark, Baale, Ewuga Olorunsogo Community, Chief Sunday Osho commended the Federal and State governments for their efforts at improving the provision of infrastructural amenities at the grassroots, pledging continued support of the people in the area for government’s programmes and policies.
Also Speaking, a community member, Mr. Bayodele Aluko lauded the effort of Hon. Onanuga for facilitating the project, soliciting for more developmental projects in the community.
