President Bola Tinubu has embarked on his fourth trip to France.
He departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 04:08 pm on Monday.
The President is travelling in style, aboard the newly acquired Airbus A330 presidential jet, which arrived in Abuja on Sunday evening.
The modified jet, valued at $100m (N150bn), features a bedroom, office space, conference, and dining room, making it the perfect vessel for presidential travel.
This marks the maiden trip for the aircraft, which was recently released by a Chinese firm, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited, after a dispute with the Ogun State Government.
The Presidency has not disclosed the purpose or duration of President Tinubu’s visit to France, but it is believed to be a brief working stay. The trip comes just weeks before President Tinubu’s scheduled participation at the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation in Beijing, China.
This is President Tinubu’s 23rd foreign trip since assuming office about 15 months ago.
