A chairmanship aspirant in Abeokuta South Local Government,  Hon. Bola Odetayo has commended the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun for flagging-off 2,000  electric motorcycles in the State.

Odetayo  made the commendation in a press statement personally signed by him and  made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.

Recall that the Ogun State Government on Wednesday launched its e-bikes  and tricycles under the Ogun State E-Mobility Programme.

Odetayo described the initiative as a welcome development, saying that it will help to reduce transportation costs in the State.

He said that it has clearly demonstrated  Governor Abiodun's  commitments towards meeting the needs of the people.

He said, “this is a laudable development, its   a positive step to achieving sustainability, i commend His Exellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun  for his commitment to reducing transportation costs and providing cleaner energy sources through the electric motorcycles initiative. This is a welcomed development and will go a long way to mitigate the effect of subsidy removal".
