The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through the Ogun State Technical and Vocational Education Board (OGSTVEB) has announced  commencement of entrance examination for admission  into the seven Government Technical and vocational colleges across the State for year 2024/2025 session.

This was stated in a release signed by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, indicating that applicants must possess Basic Education Certificate (BECE) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECOSSCE) qualifications.

The Commissioner implored applicants to apply and register for their choice of trade and college through the Ogun State Education Revitalisation (OGSERA) platform by logging on http://OGSERA.ogunstate.gov.ng/tvet with their Learners Identification Number (LIN) from Monday August 5, through Friday 30 August, 2024.  

Arigbabu, in the release further stated that application is free while screening test date will be announced later, urging candidates to come to the examination venue with a printout copy of the registration slip, which would serve as an entry pass.

He said there shall be opportunity for a TVET girl’s scholarship for all female applicants who applied for Engineering trades.
