The need for prompt reconciliation of all financial transactions into Ogun State government coffers has been emphasised.

Executive Chairman, Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS), made this known while playing host to the managements of Trust, Lavender, Astra Polaris, Emeralds and Ikenne Microfinance Banks in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, saying the practices would aid revenue growth and engender accountability at every given time.

Mr. Olaleye enjoined bankers to maintain professionalism, as well as ensure that they hold on to ethical standards and integrity in the discharge of their duties.

Contributing, Director, Other Taxes, OGIRS, Mrs. Oluyomi Dawodu, admonished the Micro Finance Banks to accord transaction activities with necessary attention, assuring that the agency would continue to strengthen its relationship with them.

In their remarks, Managing Directors of the Micro Finance Banks present, Trust, Lavender, and Ikenne MFB, Messers Akindele Sulikifli, Bamidele Oyebolu and Mrs. Funnilayo Awolesi respectively, lauded OGIRS for continuous partnership, promising to put more efforts into addressing challenges on ground.
