Protesters have blocked the busy Abuja-Keffi Expressway as well as set up bonfires around the Orange Market axis.

The protesters, who are participating in the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests, have forced vehicles to make detours, causing traffic obstruction in the area.

Most businesses along the axis have shut down, as large groups of youth joined the demonstration.

Some police officers have moved in to disperse the crowds and are currently trying to put out the bonfires on the road.

The protests, which commenced today, seek an end to bad governance and economic hardship in the country.
