A Lawmaker , representing Abeokuta South State Constituency 2, Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele , popularly known as IWA  has awarded scholarship to 24 Students to study at a private College of Education at Ilorin.

The beneficiaries who are indigenes of Abeokuta South Local Government received the scholarship on Wednesday at the office of the lawmaker at sale Igbehin,  Abeokuta

This according to the lawmaker is assist them in their educational pursuit, saying that the scholarship offer was borne out of the need to support financially disadvantaged students in their pursuit of higher education.

The lawmaker said as part of his efforts to bring educational development to his constituents, he had given out scholarship to many students in the past, adding that this is not his first time.

IWA said " I have designed a comprehensive blueprint to tackle the numerous challenges confronting the people of my constituency including programme to address the need of the youths, women. I have given out scholarship in the to many students whose parents could not afford to send them to higher institutions, today we are giving out same to 24 students who are indigenes of our dear  local government as to assist them in their educational pursuit.

 "I will continue to do my best to see to it that our people have the kind of education that brings about transformation”.
