2023 International Community and World Trade Days celebration have been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, by 10:00 am.

A release signed by the Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Hon. Ademola Balogun, stated that activities for the celebration include payments of Grants-In-Aid to worthy self-help projects across the 20 Local Government Areas, subventions and administrative grants to all Community Development Organisations in the state, as well as special award presentation to dignitaries and investiture of patrons, among others.

The release indicated that the celebration is in appreciation of the contributions of artisans and traders to the socio-economic development of the state.

It urged all stakeholders and invitees to be seated at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the programme.
