The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Information Chapel, has expressed its deepest condolences on the passing of Reverend Mrs. Fola Achudume, the wife of Apostle Lawrence Achudume.

The condolence message, in a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the chapel, Comrade Femi Osipitan and Comrade Goke Oyebade, highlighted Reverend Fola's remarkable contributions. The statement noted that Rev. Fola was an inspirational figure, dedicated to uplifting women and addressing social issues.

OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCE ON THE DEMISE OF REVEREND MRS. FOLA ACHUDUME

It is with a heavy heart that we write on behalf of the entire membership of Nigeria Union of Journalists [NUJ] Information Chapel to express our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved wife, Reverend Mrs. Fola Achudume. 

The news of her sudden departure has left us all in shock and sorrow. She was a beacon of hope and an embodiment of God’s love and grace, and her passing is a profound loss to everyone who was touched by her wisdom and compassion. 

Her impactful life was a gift to us all, and heaven has truly gained an angel.

Reverend Fola was a remarkable woman whose dedication to uplifting women and addressing social issues was truly inspirational. Her passion for empowering women to fulfill their destinies and her unwavering commitment to social justice were evident in her deeds and pursuits.

Through her leadership at Royal Ladies International Ministry and the Save Her Foundation, she transformed countless lives, encouraging women to rise above their challenges and embrace their God-given potential. We personally witnessed the power of her influence and felt blessed to have benefited from her immense wisdom and guidance.

Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched and the missions she championed. Her work with GemAme Royal Institutes and the impactful conferences she organized have set a foundation that will inspire future generations. 

Reverend Fola’s life was a testament to her favorite scripture, Proverbs 31:26: “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Her words and actions reflected this verse in every way, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.

Sir, as you navigate this time, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, the family, and your entire congregations. 

May Almighty God grant you strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead. Reverend Fola’s spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of love and service will never be forgotten.
