Genius International Magazine will honor philanthropist and entrepreneur Otunba Dr. Adebayo Adebambo Odunowo, along with other distinguished personalities, at its Genius Meritorious Awards ceremony on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

This year’s awards will recognize individuals who have made significant contributions in philanthropy, education, public service, agriculture, legal practice, politics, journalism, and grassroots empowerment.

Oluomo Segun Oyesanwo, Publisher/CEO of Genius International Magazine, stated that the awards are “designed to celebrate men and women who have achieved distinction in their respective fields.”

Honorees include Otunba Dr. Adebayo Adebambo Odunowo, Mr. Amos Akinpelu, Omooba Ademola Okulaja, Barrister (Mrs.) Stella Ogbonna, Member of the House of Representatives Hon. Femi Ogunbanwo (Omo Iwa), Daily Newshub Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Mr. Segun Olatunji, Hon. Bolaji Odusanya, Alhaji Dr. Kolawole Fatai Bisiriyu, Ilese Blog Television, and Prince Wemmy Olumide Osude, among others.

The event will be chaired by Otunba (Dr.) Niyi Osoba, with HRH Oba Abdul Rasheed Abayomi Banjo serving as the Royal Father of the Day. The Guests of Honour will be Oba Michael Kolawole Adekoya and Oluomo Kenny Osibodu.

The ceremony will take place at Legan Hall, opposite Equity Resort Hotels (formerly Gateway Hotel), Eruwon Road, Ijebu Ode, at 2 p.m.
