Hon. ORIJA Olanrewaju Atandan, former councilor, representing Ake ward 1, Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State is leveraging on his achievements to seek support for his second term bid as he reeled out his  within 3 years in office.

According to him, his 3 years achievements in his ward which should earn him the people’s support include,Lobby to facilitate Solar streets Light to  communities, Empowerment of constituents members as a way of giving back and donations of certain % of my salaries to the benefits of the youths, aged and vulnerable in the ward.    

- Contributing to community Development efforts of Ligegere Ake CDA2. 

- Clearing and Fixing Blocked Drainage for Community.                  

- Installation of Ward- Constituency-Solar Streets Light to communities via CDAs:

* Itesi and 

* Ago Ibadan-nearby Itesi                

* Ake

* Ibarapa CDA

* Iporo Ake CDA

* Ligegere Isale Ake

* Erunwon CDA  

* Erunwon Molete CDA 

* Wasinmi

- Constantly, facilitating empowerment schemes,

- employment opportunities, to ward constituents through available platforms, skills-links, 

- Inform youths, communities, available opportunities and; offers, such as: health clinic/outreach, scholarship, etc

- Supporting individuals needs, ward activities etc. As well as communities within my little capacities as a law maker.                                     

- Supporting Youth groups for their community activities/events when called upon. 

He appreciated  his constituents and leaders for their love support throughout his 3 years in office, begging for them for their  support for another term.

The former Councilor also thanked  all his leaders that supported his  initiatives and efforts despite challenges in providing succour to ward members, during the period.

He said "I want to emphatically thank my amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON; all Party Leaders; all my colleagues at the 9th legislative Council Abeokuta South Local Government,Ward Chairman, Elders and Leaders, youths, women, my family and generality of the people with the promise that I shall continue to serve within my capabilities

He also made the following promises if given another chance,  Making/Contributing to bye Laws for good governance to run the Wards, Abeokuta South Local Government in particular, and State in general.

- Support Bills and Motions deserving urgency, and that of importance to good standards of living of my people in the Legislative House.

- Supporting and Impacting lives of my people reasonable at the level of resources available as Legislator.

One of his constituents who spoke with our correspondent says" Hon Olanrewaju Atanda ORIJA is an empathizer, a lover of  progressive minded folks, and believes in the growth of the youth. To him, without the youth the party structure is incomplete. In fact, I'm a beneficiary of his, empathy, and many others. Historically, the man Olanrewaju Orija has practically expressed these great virtues even before becoming legislator, and via his good office as a Councilor of Ake-ward 1, in Abeokuta South. Linking many to job opportunities and skills Development.
