A councillorship aspirant in ward 11, Abeokuta South Local Government? Hon. Olarenwaju Yisa Afuape, popularly known as YASA has declared that empowerment of the people in his ward will be his utmost priority if elected in the forthcoming Local Government election.

He stated this during his declaration of his intention to the ward executives on Sunday at his ward.

The councillorship hopeful said that his mission is to rescue his people from abject poverty and make life meaningful for them while pledging to focus on the development of the youths by making them to be self-reliant.

YASA who will be contesting on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC reiterated his resolve to demonstrate purposeful representation for his people.

He promised to empower his ward members every three months, adding that the money will be coming from his salary.

He, therefore, appealed to the ward executives to support him in this project by choosing him as their candidate, pointing out that as a faithful member of APC, he has made a lot of sacrifices to ensure the progress and development of the party.

YASA therefore  called on his people to support his cause as he is pregnant with a lot of programmes.
